It contains oxymetazoline hydrochloride, which is a medication that works by narrowing the blood vessels in the nose to reduce swelling and congestion. The recommended dose is two or three sprays in each nostril every four to six hours as needed for relief, up to a maximum of three doses in 24 hours.
